29 Notable NFL Games in 2020

I put together a list of 29 notable NFL games for 2020. This list is not the 29 best games or even the most exciting. Simply, 29 games (in no poarticular order) with some kind of intrigue.

Chiefs @ Bucs – Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce vs Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski. Same rivalry, new matchup.

Cowboys @ Ravens – Fun, once every-four-years matchup. Only the 6th meeting all-time.

Chiefs @ Ravens – Battle of the last 2 regular season MVPs – Lamar Jackson vs Patrick Mahomes

Titans @ Ravens – Titans shocked (almost) everyone by beating the Ravens in the second round of the playoffs last season. u

Steelers @ Cowboys – Historic rivalry between two teams that have met in three separate Super Bowls 3 SB matchups (Steelers 2-1)

Browns @ Giants – Odell Beckham Jr makes his return to MetLife Stadium.

Chiefs @ Texans – Texans led the Chiefs 24-0 in the playoffs, before proceeding to lose 51-31.

Titans @ Packers – 2020 Conference Championship Game runner ups.

Chiefs @ Saints – This game has a chance to replicate the epic Monday Night game that the Chiefs played vs Rams in 2018, when KC lost 54-51.

Bucs @ Raiders – Tom Brady has played 20 years in the NFL and this will be his first game in Las Vegas. Raiders coach Gruden faces his former team for the first time.

Chargers vs Broncos – Former Chargers RB Melvin Gordon signed with the Broncos and former Broncos CB Chris Harris signed with the Chargers.

Eagles vs Cowboys – Always a hated rivalry. Top two teams by a wide margin in the NFC East.

Rams @ Eagles – Jared Goff (#1) and Carson Wentz (#2) were the top picks in 2016 Draft.

Seahawks @ Eagles – Wild Card playoff rematch, from where Seattle won in Philly

Giants vs Cowboys – Long time rivalry adds a new wrinkle as Jason Garrett enters first year as offensive coordinator for Giants.

Panthers @ Redskins – Ron Rivera led the Panthers to Super Bowl 50 in 2015 and coached them to a 76-63-1 record in almost 9 years. He faces his former team for the first time.

Packers @ 49ers – NFC Championship Game rematch

Vikings @ Saints – In 2 of the last 3 years, the Saints season has come to a dramatic halt, courtesy of the Vikings

49ers @ Patriots – Jimmy Garoppolo returns to New England.

Saints vs Bucs – Drew Brees and Tom Brady have only gone head-to-head three times (Brady up 2-1).

49ers vs Seahawks – Two of the top teams from the NFC a year ago, renew their rivalry twice.

Broncos @ Panthers – First matchup since Denver’s win in Super Bowl 50.

Bills vs Patriots – Bills have beaten New England just 5 times in 40 chances since Bill Belichick became Pats head coach in 2000. Is Buffalo the team to beat in the AFC East in 2020?

Bengals @ Dolphins – SEC and college football fans will enjoy this as the top two QBs drafted face off for the first time as pros. Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa each won 1 start against the other in college the last two years.

Ravens @ Texans – Lamar Jackson and Deshaun Watson have a fun, storied history in college and last year squared off as pros for the first time.

Packers @ Bucs – Tom Brady is 2-1 all-time in starts against Aaron Rodgers. A rare matchup between future Hall of Fame QBs.

49ers @ Saints – Two of the NFC’s best in 2019, played an epic game in the Superdome during last regular season.

Bucs @ Giants – Tom Brady is 4-1 in regular season but 0-2 in Super Bowls vs Giants

49ers @ Cowboys – Two franchises with a combined 10 Super Bowl championships and 15 total appearances.
