Playoff Drought for Bucs

Bucs have the second longest playoff drought in the NFL, at 12 years. They last made the playoffs in 2007, losing to the Giants team that beat Brady’s Patriots.

The last playoff game the Bucs won was on January 26, 2003 when they beat the Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII.

Since that Bucs win, Tom Brady has gone 27-11 and won 5 Super Bowls (and lost 3) between 2003-2019.

History with NFC South

Saints – Brady’s first Super Bowl win came in 2001 (against the Rams) in the New Orleans Superdome.

Panthers – One year after the Bucs won their one-and-only Super Bowl, in 2003 Brady and the Pats beat the Panthers

Falcons – Patriots won Super Bowl LI against Falcons and two years later, Brady won his 6th and final Super Bowl with the Patriots in the Falcons’ Mercedes-Benz Stadium

  • 2005 – Won 28-0; completed 20-31, 258 yards, 3 TD
  • 2009 – Won 35-7; completed 23-32, 308 yards, 3 TD, 2 INT
  • 2013 – Won 23-3; completed 25-36, 225 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
  • 2017 – Won 19-14; completed 30-40, 303 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

His only two games at Raymond James Stadium were in 2009 and 2017.
