Game of the Week – Louisville vs Miami

Miami is 10-3-1 all-time vs Louisville and the teams have split their two ACC matchups. Miami won 52-27 at home in 2019 and Louisville won 31-13 in their inaugural ACC season in 2014.

Bowl History

Prior to the 2014 season, Louisville’s final official game as a member of the AAC was against Miami in the 2013 Russell Athletic Bowl, which the Cards won 36-9.

Teddy Bridgewater dominated, in his final game for Louisville. The QB would be the #32 pick to end the first round of the 2014 Draft. He completed 35-45 passes, throwing for 447 yards, 3 TDs and also ran for a TD and no turnovers.

WR DeVante Parker caught 9 passes for 142 yards and a TD. Miami’s only touchdown came from RB Gus Edwards and WR Allen Hurns caught 2 passes for 24 yards from QB Stephen Morris.

2004 – Miami Comeback

#18 Louisville led 31-14 against #3 Miami halfway through the third quarter, but Miami would make an incredible comeback and win 41-38. The go-ahead score was a 1 yard touchdown run from Frank Gore

ACC Games

Pitt vs Syracuse

Pitt is 40-31-3 all-time vs Syracuse and have won 6 of 7 ACC games since both transitioned over from the Big East in 2013. Pitt has won 13 of 15 games overall, dating back to 2005.

NC State vs Wake Forest

State is 66-41-6 all-time vs Wake, but the Deacs have won the last three.

Boston College vs Duke

BC has won 4 of 7 games vs Duke. The most recent game was a 9-7 Duke win in 2015. The two teams combined for 533 total yards

Notre Dame vs South Florida

USF won 23-20 in South Bend to open the 2011 season. USF was coached by Skip Holtz at the time, the son of legendary Irish coach.

The Rest

Baylor vs Houston – This game was a late addition for Saturday, after Memphis forced a postponement of their game with Houston. These two used to be annual rivals in the now-defunct Southwest Conference, playing every year between 1976-1995. Overall, Baylor leads the series at 14-13-1.

SMU vs North Texas – SMU leads the all-time series 32-6-1.

App State vs Marshall – App State is 14-8 al-time vs Marshall, between 1977-2002. This is their first meeting where App State is a member of FBS.

Louisiana vs Georgia State – Louisiana is 4-0 vs Georgia State, scoring at least 34 in 3/4 games.

Louisiana Tech vs Southern Miss – Southern Miss is 35-16 all-time vs Louisiana Tech
