Indiana had just 190 yards of offense and Michigan had 300, but only 88 yards in the second half. The successful 1987 season for Indiana ended with a loss in the Peach Bowl against Tennessee.

Last Indiana road win: 1967 – Hoosiers would go on to have the school’s best year and made their one-and-only Rose Bowl appearance that season.
